Compared with a number of wear-resisting material, wear-resistant composite steel plate has its irreplaceable significant characteristics:
1, high wear-resistant carbon content in the chemical composition of the alloy layer of 4 ~ 5%, the chromium content up to 25 ~ 30%, the microstructure of Cr7C3 carbide volume fraction of 50% or more, the macro hardness HRC56-62, the hardness of chromium carbide is HV1400 ~ 1800, higher than the hardness of quartz sand in HV800 ~ 1200. Because carbide into the vertical distribution of the direction of wear, even with the same composition and hardness of the casting alloy, wear-resisting performance is more than double. Compared with several kinds of typical material abrasion resistance is as follows:
(1)with low carbon steel; 20 ~ 25:
(2)with high manganese steel; 5 ~ 10:
(3) and tool steels; 5 ~ 10:
(4) and as-cast high chromium cast iron; 1.5 ~ 2.5:
2, good impact resistance: the ground floor of the wear-resistant composite plate is low carbon steel or low alloy. Ductile material such as stainless steel, and demonstrate the superiority of double metal, wear-resisting layer medium resistance to wear of wear and tear, substrate under medium load, therefore has the good resistance to impact. Can withstand conveying system under high impact and abrasion head hopper, etc.
3, good heat resistance, wear-resisting layer is recommended to use under the working condition of 600 ℃ or less use, if adding vanadium alloy layer, such as molybdenum alloy, can withstand the high temperature of 800 ℃ or less wear and tear. Is recommended to use temperature as follows: ordinary carbon steel base board recommended is not higher than 380 ℃ condition of use; Low alloy heat-resistant steel base board (15 crmo, 12 cr1mov, etc) recommendation  is not higher than 540 ℃ condition of use; Heat resistant stainless steel base board recommended  which  used in working conditions is not higher than 800 ℃.
4, good corrosion resistance, wear resistance of composite steel plate contains a high percentage of metal chromium alloy layer, so it has some rust and corrosion resistance ability. Used for coal cylinder and hopper, etc can be done to prevent caking coal.
5, strong applicability wear-resistant composite steel plate specifications complete, many varieties, has become a commodity series. Wear resistant alloy layer of 3 ~ 20 mm in thickness. Composite steel plate thickness is 6 mm, the thinnest thickness of unlimited.
